Canada Fishing Lodge

Auldreekie is a hard to find luxury fishing and hunting lodge located in Northern Ontario. We have been rated SUPERIORS by Tourism Ontario. The fishing and hunting is spectacular and the accommodations and dining is superb. We offer full American Plan or Housekeeping rates for our cabins, larger cottages and suites. Auldreekie Lodge provides true fisherman with fishing as good as anywhere in the north and allows them to bring their family along to. We have recreation facilites, pleasure peddle boats, kayaks and an safe sand beach for the kids. For fishermen and ladies our lakes offer Walleye, Pike, Perch and Smallmouth Bass fishing which is as good as you can expect to find in the north plus we have Lake Trout! ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts we can access a network of excellent trails. We have snow from December to the end of March. At Auld Reekie, the fishing is simply spectacular. The variety of species we have in one fishery will make your fishing vacation more interesting and pleasurable.

Guest Services Available
  • Five semi-remote lakes are available to you at no extra cost, see enclosed lake list to choose a destination. Reservations for the semi-remote lakes can be made in the reception area of the lodge.
  • Two semi-remote lakes are available to you at a shuttle cost of $30.00 per person, if you have a four wheel drive you are welcome to take your own in.
  • Fishing maps are available, for most lakes, in the reception area.
  • Day flights can be booked in the reception area of the lodge, we prefer to fly on Tuesday and Thursday, but can make other arrangements. Please book the day before.

  • A peddle boat, canoes and kayak are available to you at no extra cost. Please ensure that you wear the appropriate life saving vest while using the water craft.
  • Horseshoe pits are found near the waterfront and are available on a first come first serve basis.
  • A wood-burning sauna is available and if assistance is required to light it, please ask at the reception desk.
  • A nightly campfire is provided for you directly in front of the sauna (weather permitting.
  • Maid Service will be done around 10:00 a.m. for those on the meal plan. To save energy, please put any towels you would like replaced in your bathtub, if you wish to reuse your bath towels, please just hang them on the towel bar.
